Fraction Fun

Hello again!  This week we've been working on fractions in math and we have strayed away from the math textbook for some hands-on activities.  So I purchased some fraction activities from some of my favorite bloggers: Amy Lemons at Step Into Second Grade and Lindsey at The Teacher Wife.  Love these two ladies and all of their ideas!  Take a look at all the fun we had working with fractions.

These fraction pizzas were a big hit!

These fraction flip books were an awesome way for my students to visualize how 1/2 and 2/4 are equivalent fractions.  We will also be using the fraction books when comparing fractions.

My Book of Fractions was found in this pack from The Teacher Wife and my students loved it and all of the other materials in that pack!

We had a ton of fun with these fraction activities - hands-on learning is the best!

 Thanks for following!

  4. Hi! Thanks for your purchases! What type of computer are you using - PC or Mac? On the TeachersPayTeachers website, it says that all files need to be opened in Adobe Reader to print correctly. All of us sellers upload PDF files which have to be opened in Adobe/Acrobat Reader to view and print. Perhaps you don't have that program on your computer. If not, you can download it for free if you just google search for Adobe Reader Free Download, you'll be able to find it super easy! Just click and download. Please email me at jamie_rector@att.net if this doesn't help you. Thanks again for your downloads! You're the first one of my buyers with a problem printing :(
