Linky, FREEBIES, and Common Core Graphic Organizers

I just uploaded my Common Core Standards Graphic Organizer pack to TpT. Are you teaching with the Common Core Standards? I have dissected the 2nd grade standards and created a resource that is perfect for assessing your students in reading! The graphic organizers included in this packet will provide formative assessments that are an easy form of documentation for mastery of the 2nd Grade Common Core Standards. Each graphic organizer highlights the specific vocabulary from the standard and some standards even have up to 6 different graphic organizers to target each specific part of the standard. NOTHING is left out of this resource pack! Using this pack of graphic organizers will ensure that you have taught and the students have mastered the Common Core Standards in Reading for Literature AND Informational Text. This product is specifically aligned to the 2nd Grade Common Core Standards and is perfect for standards-based grading! Check it out by clicking the picture. 14. Found this via pinterest. I am in SC. We are adolpting Common CORE next year. Lots of buzz about it now. What makes these graphic organizers "Common CORE?"

      ReplyDelete
    15. Hi Christy, I'm glad you found my blog via Pinterest! These graphic organizers are "Common Core" because they are aligned to the Common Core Standards for English-Language Arts 2nd Grade. There is at least one (sometimes 3-4) graphic organizers to use as a formative assessment of the Common Core Standards for Literature and Informational Text. I hope that helps :)

    19. Hi Susan! There is a list of all the standards covered in the pack in the Product Description on my TpT Store. I have included the link for your convenience: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Common-Core-Graphic-Organizers-for-Reading. Also, as an added convenience, there is a list of standards included in the pack itself, plus at the top right corner of each and every graphic organizer or math quick assessment, I have included the exact standard that the particular page covers. If you download the Freebie Samples posted in the blog post above, you can see the format of the graphic organizers. If you have any other questions, please let me know :)

    28. Will there be an ELA quick assessment like the Common Core Math Quick Assessment?

      ReplyDelete
    29. My version of an ELA quick assessment would be my Common Core Reading Graphic Organizers which offer a one-page formative assessment per standard that can be used with any book, story, or text. They have the same format as the Math Quick Assessments with the standard number in upper-right corner. With ELA, of course, they are a bit more open-ended. You can find them here:
